Hernando Sun All-County Girls Basketball Team 2022-2023
The Hernando Sun has announced its All-County Girls Basketball Team for the 2022-2023 season. The team is made up of the top players in the county who excelled on the court this season.
Guards:
- Abby Smith, Springstead: Smith was a unanimous selection to the All-County team, and she was also named the Hernando Sun Player of the Year. She led the Eagles in scoring with 18.1 points per game, and she also averaged 5.2 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.
- Gabby Scott, Weeki Wachee: Scott was another unanimous selection to the All-County team. She led the Hornets in scoring with 17.0 points per game, and she also averaged 4.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.
- Lily White, Hernando: White was a first-team selection to the All-County team. She led the Leopards in scoring with 15.5 points per game, and she also averaged 7.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game.
- Olivia Green, Nature Coast Technical: Green was a second-team selection to the All-County team. She led the Sharks in scoring with 13.0 points per game, and she also averaged 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game.
Forwards:
- Isabella Paul, Springstead: Paul was a first-team selection to the All-County team. She led the Eagles in rebounding with 7.5 rebounds per game, and she also averaged 10.5 points and 2.0 steals per game.
- Linsey Orr, Weeki Wachee: Orr was a second-team selection to the All-County team. She led the Hornets in rebounding with 6.5 rebounds per game, and she also averaged 10.0 points and 2.0 steals per game.
- Gabby Lee, Nature Coast Technical: Lee was a second-team selection to the All-County team. She led the Sharks in rebounding with 6.0 rebounds per game, and she also averaged 10.0 points and 3.0 steals per game.
