Idaho’s top high school football recruit puts Boise State at the top of his list
Boise, Idaho (May 24, 2023) – Idaho’s top high school football recruit, Gatlin Bair, has narrowed down his list of schools to five, and Boise State is at the top.
Bair, a four-star wide receiver from Burley High School, is also considering Michigan, Nebraska, Oregon, and TCU. He is expected to make his decision in the fall.
“Boise State is a great school with a great football program,” Bair said. “I love the coaches and the players, and I think I would be a good fit there.”
Bair is a dynamic playmaker who can make plays after the catch. He had 73 receptions for 1,073 yards and 18 touchdowns last season.
Boise State has been a hotbed for recruiting in recent years, and the Broncos have a strong track record of developing players. Bair would be a major addition to the Broncos’ offense.
“We’re excited to be in the mix for Gatlin,” Boise State head coach Bryan Harsin said. “He’s a special player, and we think he would be a great fit for our program.”
Bair is the latest in a long line of top recruits to commit to Boise State. In recent years, the Broncos have landed commitments from four-star quarterback Hank Bachmeier, four-star running back Cyrus Habibi-Likio, and four-star wide receiver Khalil Shakir.
Boise State is coming off a 10-win season and a trip to the Mountain West Conference championship game. The Broncos are expected to be one of the top teams in the Mountain West again in 2023.
With Bair in the fold, the Broncos’ offense could be even more explosive in 2023.
